AirForce pcp to co2 adapter

Maybe if gauntlet has a built-in regulator? My guess is that maybe the carbon dioxide can’t be shot straight out of the bottle so if the gun doesn’t have a regulator built-in then the CO2 adapter will have to.

also remember that with the Air Force guns, the valve stays with the bottle when the bottles detach.

the airforce adapter is an entire valve assembly and regulator you can screw on to an empty tank.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you are asking why the AF CO2 adapter is needed? If running CO2, the threads on a bulk CO2 tank is different than the threads on the AF HPA bottle. The HPA bottle has the valve on it, no regulator and when you unscrew the bottle, the valve comes with it.

The CO2 adapter screws in the frame of the gun and has a valve (no regulator required for CO2, of course) and you can screw in a bulk CO2 bottle directly into that adapter.

Lower velocity, of course, but lots of consistent low powered shots.
