Tuning Airforce Condor SS not cocking

If I recall, this is a issue with the safety. I believe that something happens in there that binds everything up during the automatic safety feature that prevents it from working appropriately. I think I fixed this by deleting that feature on my rifle.

Could well be-I removed the auto safety upon receipt of my rifle so I have no experience with problems it may cause. Trying to cock while pulling trigger should indicate whether the "hammer block" is dropping when trigger is pulled or not.

Ok I got the gun apart and yes it was the safety it got jamed up and the metal piece that comes up into the rifle fell through. So my question is do I have to punch through the rivets and remove the whole safety assembly or just that little tab that peeks into the breech area of the gun?

If I remember right, you just have to punch the pin over enough to get that tab out. Make sure the springs go back in the correct positions under the plate, and you should be left with a gun that can be placed on/off safe manually. Plus I think you can decock it without firing by holding the breach block go release spring pressure.

It has been quite awhile since I did mine, so just be sure to verify everything in a safe location.

It appears all the tutorials and videos for this mod have been removed, probably for liability reasons, as you are defeating a designed safety feature. Something to keep in mind, if you do remove it.

Go to Talon Tunes T.A.G. Forum and go to the condor/condor ss part. The first topic is how to de cock the condor ss. Go to page three and you will find the picks on how to remove the part that disables the auto safety.

Thanks for locating this!

I searched high and low for the DIY instructions and video and just came up with broken links.
