Howdy AGN ! Hallelujah!!! 
I thought some might like to meet my new puppy!!! He comes from a fowl family 
, I don’t care if you use the pun or not. He used to have talons but now he has claws. He started life out as an oddly designed pistol, but now he’s a bull pup!
About six years ago I traded a glock 19 first gen for a talon p. The first thing I thought when I put my hands on it and attempted to shoulder it, was “ man this thing would be a perfect mini carbine/ bull pup if the handle was about 5” forward.”
So I shot in its stock form for a little while until I couldn’t stand it anymore. I wanted to go go long range so I installed a Benjamin trail xl .25 bbl. It was awesome! I was casting 70 grain slugs and it was a powerhouse!
I had lots of fun with it in this configuration but the thought to chop it was always there!!!
So with that said , I finally bit the bullet and tore it apart.
the first thing I did was put the frame into the lathe and cut it down. It is now only 12 3/16” long without the bottle.
I also cut those fender flares off the back
and Installed pic rails top and bottom.
I made a plate from aluminum for the grip to be moved forward 5”. This is basically just a stiffener, as the stock trigger assembly cover plate needed the thickness to not flex with the new grip position.
I modified the original trigger for receiving the linkage. And drilled and threaded the plates for the forward grip position. I also moved the safety to the front with the new grip pos.
I would like to make an aluminum grip in the future but for now the stock one if fine. I made a new trigger (front) out of titanium which is drilled and pinned for now but I think I will change all of the pins to machined shoulder bolts.
another thing I did was a de cocking mod. I milled the bolt so that it would still engage the safety automatically but can now be safely decocked.
And for rt now the atlas is the only trigger guard.

as of now it’s only toont ( I know it’s tuned) for consistency not accuracy but Lord willing here in the next couple days I’ll get some target practicing in. All I know is that it hits where I aim!!’

. Oh well ... I have a GoPro mount but it currently only fits an Aztec scope. I’ll have to make a bushing to use on this application as I want to take it out past 200 yards. And the speed too! I crunk this thing up all the way and hit 1066 FPS. At least that’s what my chrono showed. I know it might not be calibrated exactly but I believe it’s within a few FPS cause it gave the same readings as two others.
