has any members here shot the wing shot shotgun?i have one and I not taken it out of the box yet.

I have one! I live here in ohio. I took it out for its first real hunt two week ago. Got a couple rabbits. It took me three trips to the range, a homemade rear sight, some home made shells and a hundred clay pigeons to get dialed in. Two shots and two kills! One was 30 yards and the other about 20.

wow I didnt think anyone ever shot it.how did you make shells?i have some from air venture and some empty shells.i seen shells with more shot added to them over the ones I have.i also have some slugs to shoot.i read somewhere they good out to 35 yards.how do you think it would do against a turkey at 15 yards?

I use 28 gauge wads. I use a razor knife to cut off the domed cup on the bottom. For hunting i fill them with #4. You can get 3/4 to 7/8ounce in the wad then the scotch tape over the end. I have the smaller choke and get 12 inch patterns at 25-30 yards. I dont think you would have any problems with a turkey at 15 yards. For skeet i use #8.

I have the full choke also.not legal to hunt turkeys here in ohio with it but I think I can in Michigan and use it I have to check...send pictures to [email protected] may just have to try it out.
