Air Venturi - Producing a new version of the IZH 46 ?

Kind of exciting, I think. The selling price is of course three times what I foolishly sold my 46M for back in the day! But still a bargain compared to many match pistols.

The improvement in the grips is very enticing, I agree with Mr Gaylord that was a weird feature of the original. I wonder if they have also improved the quality of the internal seals? IIRC cheap O-rings were a frequent source of failure and complaint.

Christmas came a little early this year

Original and AV backup. Looks like I may be able to use one case, but it will be tight. 

I wonder if there are others with chatter at the barrel breech cone? First diagnosed as a breech seal leak. Turns out to be; pellets can't seal against uneven breech problem:
