Who do you trust? Can you find a 4500 psi high pressure compressor under $3000 that is not made in China? Yong Heng opened the market for a lot of airgunners. There have been problems but a lot of people are happy / satisfied who would have not bought a compressor before. If you can get 2 years out of one that's about $12 - $14 a month. If it craps out go buy a new one. Most of us spend more on pellets.

I've been watching this forum for 4 years and almost every size / shape of compressor has had problems. High pressure air puts a stress on all machines

Not hearing any leaks and it is pumping. We moved the gauge to 1600 and when it got there it cut off not sure what it is.

Seems that leaks often cause just the behavior you note-pumping to some pressure but not going to maximum. I would check with soapy water at all fittings, especially any that were touched since it last worked normally.

Exactly correct. I have a YH that has worked for well over a year now. All relative and as you note, anything can fail. Value for money spent has been excellent in my case.
