Air Venturi Electric 4500 psi Air Compressor Question

I know these compressors have come up at times in threads, but just wanted to inquire as to the general consensus about them.

Someone locally is trying to sell one, and they're stating that it's only been used to fill a bottle three times. I'm very happy with my compressor, but it never hurts to have a backup I suppose. I don't have much experience as to what this type equipment normally sells for used, so I thought I would toss it out to the brain trust for feedback.

Thanks in advance for any insight, wisdom, and experience.

I've had mine for around 5 months, nary a problem. It's used daily, 5 Gladius cylinders and 3 refills on a 480cc tank on Sk 19. I've run only Royal Purple in it. I run a 50-50 mix of antifreeze in it for anticorrosion properties. I leave the fan running after use to cool down to ambient air temperature.Take care of your machine and your machine will take care of you. My only pet peeve is it doesn't have an hour meter on it, a future modification. No auto purge isn't a problem isn't a problem as I purge system after ever cylinder, bottle fill, would be a nice feature if I was filling a large tank.

John I am completely with you on maintenance and taking care of the equipment. I'm a big fan of no debt, buy it, pay for it up front, and then maintain it forever.

My Daystate doesn't have an hour meter either. I was going to wire in a Hobbs Meter, but tried this and so far it's doing well:

I will say that in the beginning I had a challenge with it. I had it attached to the plastic control box on the top of the unit where I could read it easier, but the plastic absorbed some of the vibration and the meter didn't detect the frequency it needed. So I moved it down to the metal frame right next to the compressor and it's been solid ever since.

I also use these and have had great results:

It will measure Cumulative Time that has been run as well as current draw, etc.

I too have had no issues with mine, but of course it’s early days yet. I use it every day to fill one or both of my Fxs, a Crown and an Impact. I just used it today to fill my brand new Airmarksman 98 cu ft tank from empty to 4500 PSI. No problem and the temp got nowhere near the Max level of 95 C. Generally the temp was around 58-60 C. I did purge the moisture every 10-15 minutes. I’m very happy with it so far and glad I bought it.

Just keep this in mind and free shipping.

For price reference only. I'm not saying to buy them ok? Buy with 4 year warranty is best from any place in the USA that offers 4 year warranty. This Aliexpress place you are on your own of it breaks but if you buying a used one this is for price comparison only.
