Air Venturi avenger - are you kidding me?

Tragically this is just a part of life. New toys come out every day. Best to just enjoy what you have. 

I feel your pain. I just bought a Sumatra in. 25 just a month ago because the liberty wasn't offered in .25 I have a liberty in. 22 already that I hot rodded. I got it up to 53 fpe. 

Antoni, your Liberty has a titanium air tube. It looks like the new Avenger has a different air tube that probably is cheaper.

Same pressure 50cc less volume.

The Avenger has an operating pressure of 300bar, so I hope you have a compressor. 

Now I want one of these Avengers in .25!

A couple of guns you guys may have overlooked in lower priced high performers are the Hatsan Flash and Vectis. I have both and they are very impressive in the power and accuracy department, while only liking 200--250bar. they are non regulated but that doesn't seem to matter much. They are very easy to top off with a hand pump.

Give it a couple months bud and follow the reviews on it. Out Liberty is an awesome gun and this Avenger had to give up something that our Liberty’s have to maintain that price range. Yeah they have a .25 cal. So did Nova Vista, but ATI didn’t carry it here in the USA. South America dealers did and elsewhere and I think it went by the label Red Target or something.

Our Liberty’s have a high and low power knob that I really use a lot and comes in handy. Our regulators are still adjustable and even the Avenger has to degass to move that regulator in one of those direction, sorry I don’t remember if it was up or down but degassing was required to do so. No, we can’t read what our current regulator output is and the Avenger can. It had to give up the dual power setting knob to have this feature though...worth it??? Don’t know yet. Our hammer spring is shim-able and not fully adjustable from the outside like the Avenger true but still can be adjusted. We have a titanium air cylinder. I don’t know if the Avenger does. Like I said it had to give up something to maintain that price point. Time will tell. One thing is for sure...we...Liberty owners know for sure what we have and what it is capable of. I may end up with an Avenger in .25 just because I have always wanted a Liberty in that caliber like so many out her Liberty owners. I’m in no hurry and knowing what you just ordered and no I haven’t mentioned that to anyone, you will be busy with it smashing iguana heads very soon and won’t have time to think about it. Lol Let’s see what happens with this gun. If the Avenger is as good as the Liberty...no worries. It will be around for a long while. But the Avenger, you would think, had to give up something to keep that price range and we will soon find out if what it do was worth it. Liberty owners got a lot of gun for our money and I have a few of them now as well without a single complaint with any of them. Of the guns I own they are among my favorites.
