This groundhog was taken with my Daystate Air Ranger Tactical.25cal from about 40yds with a clean head shot. The gun was regulated with an Altaros regulator set to about 160bar shooting JSB Exact King 25.39g at an avg. of 850fps. This is my absolute favorite air rifle in my collection and it's a great gun with or without the reg.

Gotta love Air Rangers. One of the best all around hunting pcp's ever, IMO. Here's my .20 cal / 50fpe Ranger after a 72 yard head shot. Blew right through its furry, garden munching noggin. I'm a habitual buy / try / sell guy. I've had airguns for 11 days, 11 weeks. Had this one for 11 years! Personal record, haha. Wearing a Corcoran stock at the time. Sold the stock when the Ranger became my go-to hunter. Keep up the pics!!

Sweet stock Brian!!! Yes I also agree that the Air Ranger is a timeless classic and deserves a place in the " Airgun Hall of Fame". I'm also a buy, try, sell guy, hell I have a guy driving 50 miles on Friday to test out and purchase my Taipan Mutant Standard.22 that I've only had a few months. I wish Daystate would start making soft touch synthetic over wood stocks again.
