I’m always pleasantly surprised when I see someone is from my state. And I actually consider purchasing from people in my state over others.
So in my profile under “ Location” I put not only my state but my city also.

Michael is working on a map feature. There used to be one, probably the same They (gta) use, but there were some cost? issues with it?
Anyway, I know there are plenty of airgnners in your area. I often click on folk profiles and if they put it in, you can see where they live. Have actually met a guy and bought in person before.

I was thinking the other day that in theory, a snapshot of the AGN website could be downloaded from archive.org and used as the dataset for an offline user profile scraper for populating one of numerous mapping systems / APIs / libraries (with around a dozen and a half lines if Python). This forum appears to be Wordpress-based, so the correct way to solve for this is (1) generate mapping data would be a lightweight SQL query against the users table for a home-baked solution (2) a plugin (I do not personally trust these plugins for security and user privacy considerations).
Point being, it could be done with or without even touching the forum backend.
