Air gun clubs in Minnesota?

So I had a top-up fill on my Great White tank done at Vintage Paintball today. It was down to 3200 psi, and they charged me $20 to take it back to 4500psi. I had to leave it for 3 hours too. That is daylight robbery. I could get a fill from Fantasea Scuba from 3000 to 4500 done in about 10 minutes for $6.50. So I am going to look into my own compressor. I hate beholding to others and getting ripped off in the process.

Greetings Aimen! As president of the Minnesota Airgun Field Target Assn. (MAFTA), let me say thanks for expressing your interest in local airgun competition. Our small but committed group holds matches on the 2nd Saturday of each mont, April thru October At Oakdale Gun Club. Because of the nice weather, a few of us are meeting there tomorrow (17th) at 0900 for an informal match/shooting session. This would be a great opportunity for you to see what a field target match looks like and check out the equipment being used. PM me if you have any questions. Uj

What kind of shooting? MN has some very active NRL22 clubs which welcome air rifles. But it is PRS style, timed stage shooting.

Not much going on for benchrest or anything--would have to find a rimfire league or something. Haven't really found one yet.

Wow thank you for all the replies!!! Unfortunately I have been on these classifieds about 10 times since writing this post but totally forgot that I wrote it. I had nothing going on today and would have loved to of went to Oakdale gun club to check it out. I currently don't even own a pcp rifle so I was mainly just looking for a competition so I could go there and learn. I went on Oakdale gun clubs website but never seen anything airgun related.

The Minnesota Airgun Field Target Association will be hosting the 2022 state field target shoot on October 15th At Oakdale Gun Club. This would be a great opportunity to come by and meet the guys and find out what field target is all about. For those of you who are not familiar with OGC, the airgun course is located at the far east side of the grounds Past the handgun range. There’s a sign by the trail to the course. Hope to see you there. Uj
