Air gun clubs in Minnesota?

Well about the only one I know of is a field target group at the Oakdale Gun Club although I'm not sure if they are still going or if they shutdown. They had a website, www.mafta.net however it doesnt seem to be working anymore. Not certain if their web hosting has exprired and no one have noticed or they are no longer.
I found a webpage for the Oakdale Gun Club which has a bit of info on them with contact info, you can give that a go to see if anyone responds, if they do and are still going let me know as I would like to attend on of their ft matches sometime this spring.

JasonW, so a fellow Minnesotan. I have shot at Oakdale a few years ago and was a member up until job got in the way and could not get time to shoot so I quit. They had a limited airgun capability and you are basically in grass with the ticks. They do have great 25, 50, 100 yd, and 200m ranges. I pay now as a regular public attendee during the months it is open to the public as I do not shoot enough to warrant a $200 join fee plus 2 days of work duty per year to remain a member. I shoot at the range roughly 3 or 4 times a year, and it is only $20 a day to shoot.

So where is everyone in the Twin Cities area currently filling up their airguns? My usual source Fantasea scuba in Burnsville moved across town to Wayzata and did not move their 4500 psi compressor. They are cheap at $6.50 per fill, but can currently only fill to 3000psi . I have another lead with air assault paintball, who can fill to 4500 psi, but their schedule was not ideal. They are based in St. Paul which is fine as I live on the Eastern suburbs, but when I went last Saturday, their tanks were depleted enough and only able to fill to 3000 psi. At that point, I was told I would need to come back when Brent was around as he had the only male to male foster fitting that I would need for my tank...

So if anyone has any leads on places in the Twin Cities to fill to 4500 psi would be appreciated??

we could also try a meetup at some point. There is another local guy who shoots Airguns, but do not know if he is still on the forum or not.
Might be better when it is a little warmer?

I use this place 10min east of Northeast Mpls off of Rice st. Home[/QUOTE]http://airdownthere.com/embed/

They fill up to 4500psi but they charge roughly around 18 bucks a fill, I'm still on my first fill. I have an Omega 75u ft tank.. They've kept it over night so they can top if off correctly. After searching high and low I wasn't going to argue.

I agree about getting together when its warmer out. Hopefully this spring we can find a place...or if anyone happens to know someone with a huge heated indoor building we could use :)

Good luck!

Do we have a list of airgun clubs around the world? Specifically, in the United States?

I know it's be pretty difficult to keep up, but if one happened to exist, I wouldn't complain (and no, I'm not volunteering, sorry 'bout that)
This would be excellent.. Not only connecting with local clubs but connecting with other clubs while traveling. I get down to Arizona a few times a year in what I consider one of the Meccas for the air gun world...It would be truly awesome to be able to connect with all of the fine folks down there...the invaluable information would be awesome!

I'm in the cottage grove area. So far found vintage paintball will fill the carbon fiber tanks but you better call to make sure the shops tank has enough air to fill the tank all the way up. I just purchased a Benjamin marauder and the Benjamin carbon fiber tank and it sure has been frustrating to say the least to get it filled. My fill was like $6. Currently I've only shot in the back yard and might try to go up after the holiday and shoot some critters at our land. Haven't looked for a range yet to shoot at since back yard is big and I can stretch out to 75 yards but that is at the property line. You could always start a club if you can find a nice range to shoot at and maybe we can get a forum tab to meet up and shoot.
