I'm curious if the original poster (gamyrick) found a solution to the issue of "stock shrinkage".
I would think that maybe sealing any unfinished part of the stock, like the inletting for the receiver would help, and keeping the stock properly waxed or wiped with Ballistol would also help.
Also helps to keep all rifles stored in a good climate without excessive humidity or dryness would really help.
Oh, I do love my TX200... I think it's is a MK4 with gold trigger... purchased used from Tom Price many years ago, with a Mike Abernethy walnut stock.
