Air Arms S510 TDR .22 with Hawke Sidewinder FFP Airgun Review by AirgunWeb

We talked about the Air Arms S510 TDR at shot show, now we have it in the shop and we couldn’t be happier with what this little gun delivers. Air Arms listened to their customer base and came back with a great “next” version of the TDR. Indexing power adjuster, light weight, fixed suppressor, all in one case, excellent accuracy and smooth as glass operation. Air Arms knows how to build them guys, and this new S510 TDR proves that in spades.

Man it’s a great time to be an airgunner!!!

RICK your videos are top notch ,i been really enjoying the later ones more,,good videos, give you the good and bad ,,not the LEGO song ,<EVERYTHING is AWESOME>,i appreciate you pointing out what was wrong with the TDR 410 and how they Fixxed it with the improvements of the TDR 510 , acknowledging this brings you credibility in my eyes, and i thank you for that,,most of us rely on you RICK and a handful of others to give us the truth.and not skip over the bad.,the vast majority of us buy our gear depending on what we hear and see in you guys reviews ,the places we can go to see or get a feel for a rig before we buy are far and few ,not every state has a place,,so ill leave it at that ,,thanks for the attention to detail good and bad ,its a huge service you are doing for many ,thank you PS KEEP THE VIDS COMING HYNZIE

Hynzie.. Thanks for your comments. Here's my basic philosophy when it comes to airgun reviews, or reviews in general. My hope is to give you just the facts of the product and let you make up your own mind as to if those facts match what you are looking for. Also, I don't take the time to create review videos of products that don't shoot well. I just move on to the next product in the queue. So much of my work these days are of really good airguns.. simply because that's all I choose to work with. The key to me is to stay as objective a possible and let you all decide if it fits your needs. In the case of the S410TDR, I sent a list of my suggestions to Air Arms and they came back with the S510TDR. There was nothing "wrong" with the S410TDR, but there were things that could "better" in my personal opinion. And, I think they nailed it with the S510TDR version for sure. That's the way it is supposed to work.

Again, thank you for your comments and for watching our videos. I have a lot more coming out for this year. Please keep watching, sharing and liking the content. That's what makes it worth it to the sponsors.

Thanks again.

Rick, great review. I love your philosophy. Give us the facts and let us make up our minds.

And Hynzie, thanks for stating so perfectly how much we airgunners rely on accurate reviews. As you said, we often times have to buy our guns sight unseen and realistic reviews are paramount in helping us make our decisions.
