Air Arms s510 power adjuster fix

I put a piece of black electrical tape on the left hand side to hold it in place. Rinkydink I know. This is my biggest gripe with this rifle. Mine doesn't contain a grub screw to adjust the friction or hold the power adjuster in place, but it does stay pretty good. The 3-position FX design is better.

I'm thinking the S510 contains a V-slot variable transfer port as the power adjuster.

Try putting a small oring on the outside of dial. That will put tension on the knob and keep it in place. It also looks neater than a rubber band.

Ya.... I put a small o-ring under the wheel. This locked it into place and has not moved. visually undetectable.

Matt touches on it in his latest AA Galahad video. That they indexed it that is.

Never really noticed it on mine. I used to keep it on power setting 3 for back yard shooting at 20 yards, but know that i have 100 yards its been on hi power when i do get around to shooting it. Think i will throw on a o-ring when i get some time.
