Looking at an air gun , the Air Arms Pro – Elite in .22  Just sold another air gun , and wanting a good value for my money.  Has anyone had one of these ?  Not taking price , but quality.  I did own a TX200 MK111 , and know that the Air Arms quality is better then most.   What are your thoughts on the Pro-Elite in  ? It is in perfect condition .

I think it would be a terrific gun.  While I don’t own that one, I own three AA rifles and they are not only scary accurate, but beautiful and absolutely trouble free.

The AA pro elite is a highly coveted gun.  Not sure how easily you might be able to find spare seals and springs if necessary, but if I could buy one in good condition I would.  I ran across a guy hunting with one about 6m ago and it was a beautiful gun.

My AA Pro Elite .22 is a accurate power house springer. It is also a large heavy & Heavy to cock gun. But puts out over 20fp.

it is also a work,of art even with the beach stock on mine. Elegant Air Arms quality !

I have a PE in .22 with a beech stock and much less common .177 in walnut.  Both are excellent, powerful and accurate but some later models had issues with tapered tubes leading to poor power and pistons seal falling off. If you get a good one they're quite nice.

I bought it , .22 caliber  with a Weaver scope. Absolutely gorgeous , with the stained beech stock. It was used some , but in excellent condition. I sold an Olympic match rifle , the Anschutz 380 so I wanted another  beautiful rifle to replace it.

A laser accurate one of a kind power house. Buy it. I have owned 3, one I bought new, years ago. Best starling shooting springer out to 75 yards, period.

I have one with the tapered chamber in beech 22, had it tuned/repaired by P Watts to 15 ft lps, it is beautiful, heavy and accurate, I will never sell it, but shoot my HW50 in 177 way more.

that must have been from a long time ago, Paul wouldn't even touch a PE for years!

It was years ago, however I understand that after he did mine, he found a way to fix the chamber.
