AGT Vulcan 3

Nice move, just when a guy starts looking at the cricket2 tac! I have never owned a cricket, my wife has an Uragan compact that has been rock solid and accurate. I just with the 22 and 25 longs also had non choked barrels. Sounds like a nice bench gun.

I'm hearing they plan to have a .22 700mm non-choked polygonal profiled CZ as an option.

Sounds almost perfect where did you hear that? Also anyone have any idea when these will be available to purchase?

Zx10wall has some good sources, so I will definitely take his word. This is really good info, I wouldn’t mind setting one of these up for my wife. She wants a good 100 yard gun for paper punching and if slugs are a possibility even better.

Just watched the longer video - and the 3 does appear to be a nice update on the previous generation. So if there is a bleed screw for the air, does that mean that you can't just unscrew/remove the air bottle while under pressure? That would really suck (and waste a lot of air) if you couldn't just remove the bottle without degassing it each time. Does anyone know if the bottle has a valve in it that would allow it to be removed under pressure?

No the bottle doesn’t have valve and can’t be removed without degassing. There’s another topic in the News, Specials and Events forum where the manufacture has responded to some questions about the new Vulcan 3 including the bottle valve question.

I wonder what it cost AGT to do the Vulcan 3 commercial? LOL!

Talked to Tony at Talon and he has them on the way with a 11/18 delivery date (give or take).

I have a .30 700mm and the .22 700mm (poly unchoked) planned with him so will keep you posted on first impressions.

Not sure the new Vulcan will deliver anything my current stable of guns don't but never know until ya try I guess...

Emmm exactly what I said above your post, unless your not reading

Warmed over fx? Have you handled an fx and agt gun?

The agt is built much more robust and weighs more then an fx. I have had the Uragan compact for a while now and not had a single issue, both of my fx have been back to fx. The last 2 problems with my maverick I just ordered parts and fixed.

While my maverick is finally shooting good and fairly consistent the Uragan is almost boring. Once sighted in it stays there, if it loses accuracy clean the barrel. The maverick was horribly inconsistent from day to day and shifted point of impact. I’ve finally got it shooting consistent but it took hours of fiddling.

Regarding the Maverick, I purchased mine on September 04, had a O ring issue, sent it in on September 29th to FX and they just sent it back and won't get it for a few days.

FX will make tracking number for you BUT won't tell you the number is bogus because they did'nt send it out for another 7 days not telling me why the tracking number was junk till they finally sent it out, what's wrong with these people?

The FX tech said, O come on send it to use I'll have it back it a week lie, I'm already making charge card payments on a gun that's been in others hands more then mine.

Interesting video from Sniperqty Airguns about Vulcan 3 ; moreover he seems to be often the first to get and test new guns . Too bad I don't understand the comments ..:)

He gets them first because he sells more AGT PCPs than anyone else on the planet.

Warmed over FX..............au contraire mon frere!

Ha! Its easy to tell when another manufacturer has hit a home run when the FX fanboys immediately jump out of the woodwork to put it down or call it a copy. ;)
