Just received mine last night. Couldn't wait to get it all set up and throw a few through it. I love it. Also, would like to give Tony @ Talon Tunes a big shout out. He was very helpful with this as I am new to PCP's. Gave him a lot of questions and he was very patient and helpful. Thanks Tony!

Was just looking at the length of the gun as compared to my Taipan compact w/ an LDC....its only about 3" longer. Would like to hear your feedback on how quiet it is with the factory shroud.

I probably shot about 40 shots last night, 20 without the suppressor and 20 with. Without it is quiet and backyard friendly, I would compare it to a soft clap. With the suppressor, all you hear is the discharge of air (very quite). The pellet ricocheting thru the woods is louder. Suppressor is definitely the way to go. It is hard to comprehend the power of this rifle being so quite.

@rumchata, what caliber did you get?
i have contacted AGT, asking for regpressure on the .25, and they said its 125 bar. This is not unusual high, but it will make it louder then a huma r5m long at 106 bar....

My test target from Tony shooting regular .25 jsbs at around 940-950 for his chrony testing. I have not chronied my gun yet. Hoping to get out soon with it and report back. Rumchata47! Congratz on the Uragan as well! I shot mine in my back yard and I think its pretty dam back yard friendly in .25 cal!

Guys, question for ya..
On the long version, there's that tank guard with the m-lok looking 'keymod' slots in it..
Is that grip/guard made out of metal? or plastic? I couldn't tell from any of the review vids..

The forearm tank guard is made out of plastic. When I ordered mine, was hoping to squeeze in a picatinny lug more forward in the guard to mount the bipod to as the stock lug is too far back in my opinion. I would not put anything in the guard as will probably rub against the tank. Jimmy, how do like shootiing from the bippod Mine seems a bit wobbly and for bench shooting I will definitely be going to sandbags.

No problem, yes it is a downfall also in my eyes. But I will say this, for me, now having shot this beast I am willing to make that concession but that is just my opinion. I am not a PCP pro, but maybe the shorty would be more stable. I think we should all team up and get AGT to produce a replacement hand guard with an extended picatinny rail to move a bipod forward. Are you listening AGT LOL

The looks of this gun is very attractive to me and I’m guessing it is to a bunch of other PCP fans. Can the regulator or HST be adjusted? I also would rather the guard under the bottle be rigid enough to attach a bi pod. For now I will keep an eye on the evolution and modifications of this gun.

This is fairly quiet out of the box, I have a sumo suppressor on it and it makes it really quiet.

I do not have both, I just have the uragan but here are some things why I decided on the uragan. It has 2 times air capacity. Uragan claims 400 shots on 1 fill in .177. I do not like how far rearward the side lever is on the veteran. The uragan's side lever is placed more to the center like a traditional firearm. Also, I may be wrong as I am new to PCP's but I don't think the veteran shorty comes in .177. This is just my opinion, hope it helps.
