Hello guys.

I just got this new Uragan in 25 cal.

It came with no air in the tank so I went and filled it to around 200 bar, put a scope and proceed to sight it in.

It just does a very low sound when shooting and the pellet drops very close, does not even reach 50 yards, the radar does not even read the speed. I was actually scared that the pellet might get stuck in the barrel.

I tried upping the hammer spring but there is a point where it starts to blow all the air out after a shot, so figured too much HS tension.

May be the reg is set to low?

Any help on how can I set this reg to a good starting point for the 25gr to reach 930fps or so without having a pressure tester?

Any help would be appreciated.

I see that you are in Panama, so likely not a simple answer like "send it back to the dealer where you purchased it."

Likely the highest level Uragan Specialist on this site is Derrick Wall (AGN user zx10wall ). Perhaps he will see your thread and offer some assistance, or maybe you could PM him and get his opinion. He knows these guns inside-and-out.

P.S.: You did try the simple stuff first - like verifying that your breech seal o-ring is in place and undamaged?

I also recall reading that some Uragans perhaps did not get their barrels tightened properly during assembly, and the barrels have gotten out-of-place. Perhaps check this too, although I don't have enough knowledge about Uragans yet to give you any further guidance.

I think I got to the solution thanks to @zx10wall 

There is a restrictor that comes pre-installed from factory at the right side. I will confirm this during the week when I get more air to refill it again.

Just remove the black crew and inside is the restrictor.

I will post up when I get more air.

Happy ending there. So what does it restrict? Is it a smaller transfer port, and what is it's purpose? Is it for UK sub 12 limits?

I had the same question/s....but forgot to ask. Maybe Derrick @zx10wall knows?



25.39 grain at 475 fps is 12.7 fpe. At that speed, 30 yard zero is 7.78 inch drop at 50 yards. I don't know if this drop is what the OP described initially but....???
