Steve & I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our first Shoot-Travel-Hunt (STH) vid back in October. The pilot was a success, Airguns of Arizona wants us to make 3 more this year, and that’s where you guys come in.
We’d like to make one in the East, Central, and Western part of the Country… and we’ll probably make the western one in AZ. What that means to AGN & its members is that we need your help in buttoning up two more venues for the year.
We learned a lot on this last trip but the primary takeaway was that having an excellent host/guide was paramount to us being able to make the best use of a 48 hour window. Thayne & Val Simmons set a fine example & taught us a lot. Thanks guys… we’re indebted to ya!
So here’s an idea of what we’re looking for:
It’s important to us to include AGN members in the process, so if you’ve got a target rich environment to share (or permission), please let us know by either replying publically to this thread or by sending me a PM. Include your name, the City & State, the quarry, and feel free to add a few pics too.
Timing is important as we need to get travel booked so if you wish to participate, please get back with us right away.

- A co-host & guide with seasoned experience that can exhibit a high level of comfort & professionalism on camera.
- A picturesque and culturally rich area with abundant quarry.
- It’s important that the series comply with local hunting rules & regulations so before you submit your application, be familiar with your area’s laws on out of State shooters and let us know what they are in your reply.
- We’ll be shooting .22 - .30 so the game should be appropriately sized (bird & rodent).
