AGD is at it again with the Long Rangers 2

Yeah I forgot to say. I did put it in the description though. It's a Remington Vantage break barrel I've had for ten years. I've spent more time with this gun than any other I own. It's the one in the pictures above. Thank you.

A little more info on the gun. I was shooting AA8.4's out of it at 750fps. It's been tuned by me, with a moly piston seal, smoothed internals, and aftermarket JM spring and triggers mods.

Well done John. I’m in Australia and ineligible I suppose for the competition but I’d like to contribute and I’m going to put something together. We can’t get exploding golf balls here but I’m thinking of a ping pong ball filled with talcum powder.
I’m really looking forward to the posts on this. I know how hard it is to hit objects at distance, I once posted shooting cans at various distances out to 80 meters useing my 177 Benjamin Trail but a golf ball would be very difficult. Well done again.

You should send them an email and ask. They could mail you the patch I would think. Also the golf balls are plastic shells filled with a white powder. They aren't at all explosive. Oh and thank you.

Not sure why they have a contest that rules out so many of their customers?
I know I don't have a camera to prove any shot that I might take as a participant in this contest.
I suspect that there are many others just like me?

i got it done this morning. There are 10 shots you don't see because my time ran out on my camera phone and i had to start videoing over. wind 9 mph out of the southeast i was shooting south. Check it out

Hey, here's the thread I was looking for! 
Here's my entry. Nice job to those posting before me. Kudos to Seth for shooting off a barrel! And to Windmill01 for getting it on the 2nd shot? 
I was asked how many shots it took me. Well, it depends on how you look at it. 
2 after stating I was going for the ball (had to watch it in the unedited video)
~11 after re-sighting in with a different moderator
~100 - 150 shots fired overall in the vicinity of the ball. 

Nice shooting Tom, those springers/gas rams take a little getting used to don’t they. I actually hit the ping pong ball twice. The first time on the seventh shot but I realised when viewing the video my iPad had toppled back in the holder during the first few shots I had made so all I videoed was a couple of shots at the beginning and the top of the trees when the ball was hit. The first attempt took 7 shots and the second which i could post was 2 shots.

This picture is of my back board used in the shooting. The top section is where I had the balls hanging, 9 holes. The bottom section is where I had a sheet of photo copy paper taped to the board. It took me 11 shots to zero it. If you look closely you will see the 3 hole group when my Trail was zeroed, pretty lucky to get that I thought. I was going to mention this originally but thought it was too long winded.

I know it it's only been a week since the contest started, and my entry was sent this past thursday but has anyone else who entered received any sort of confirmation of their entry being accepted or denied?

John I didn’t enter as I believe I’m ineligible. So I haven’t received a reply, but it was a hoot doing it. Good luck mate.

Thanks Gary. I ask because I can do it again if denied but have only 2 more chances to shoot at that range before the deadline.

I read somewhere that the patches will be mailed all at once at the end of November. But still a confirmation would be nice
