Aftermarket Taipan Veteran Barrel?

I think you will be hard pressed and wasting your money to try and beat a CZ barrel.

I am nowhere near a barrel expert, But if you are wanting better accuracy than your CZ barrel you might look into the LW barrels, I do not think you are going to get more accurate.

But I would love to see what you come up with and why????

There ARE better benchrest grade ultra match barrels better than CZ And LW from $350-$800 plus machining labor. No guarantees on accuracy to shoot Monster RDs though... I have one for a Brocock Bantam Hilite and accuracy looked the same as the factory Daystate LW OEM barrel. $400+ down the toilet. I am using the factory Brocock-Daystate LW barrel now since it appears to have the same accuracy and it had been a magazine issue all along. 

I may be off but I'm guessing if the original poster ( @kthomas ) just recently purchased his vet then it likely has an LW barrel. Apparently most of them are shipping with LW's now for the past . . . ( I don't know ) 6 months or more? Not sure why they dropped the CZ's but - they apparently did. I have the same one - .22 long and it is a LW. 

Taipan is coming out with a 700mm CZ barrel that you can purchase separate. Shouldn’t be to long now. And I believe mtn ghost posted a thread on here about it.
