After waiting for months, my Slug Liner 600mm has arrived! thanks UA!

This is a bitter sweet story...

Been waiting for my slug liner for months! ... 2 weeks ago I got my package, open it only to found that Utah Airguns send the wrong package!

They send me 500mm liners instead of the 600mm! my head was burning hot as you can imagine, even more when I found that the 600mm liner has gone and I had like 500 slugs to test...mails go and forth... and finally I get this one:

Eduardo, no worries, the owner (Justin I imagine) took his 600mm liner apart and we are sending it to you right now and not to MIami (I have a Forwarder there) but direct to Chile, a week later or so..I have FINALLY the correct liner, so a BIG

THANKS to UTAH AIRGUNS! (Specially to Jason and Jessica) I know we all make mistakes, and I understand that, is how do we correct our mistakes what matters, and UA know how to fix it, so happy! For sure I will keep buying from you guys! 100% recomended

I received my Impact from Utah back in March of 18. I don’t know if I’m still on the wait list but I requested that they notify me when the 25 slug barrels would be available to fit in the 700mm 25 caliber barrel kit that I bought for my 30 caliber Impact. Utah Air Guns if you see this PM me with my order status.

Best way to contact them is sending a message from your profile page on UA ..
The wait list on 700mm cals (22 and 25) is huge now... probably will take a while..

jaja The problem is that I do not have anything in 500mm! damn! jaja I have 600 and 700 (murphy!) a good mistake would had been a 700mm! :D

I will post my results as soon as I get them. Yesterday was fun (made a few mods) until my wife told me: Something is getting deflated in your toys room...damn! My Impact! it was late so I did not check it, so I have work to do to find out the leak (busted o'ring probably)

Not sure, i took everything apart and all.looks fine, I change the valvetube orings and the valvehouse (also took measures) too, but my theory (probably wrong) is since I change the valve seat, from 5,5 to 5,8 the delrin (or delron I am confused!) that seals the valve seat needs to settle...donno

I took a few dry shots and has been 1 hour and gauge is right on the spot tomorrow i will know.

Btw I have been order to build a new valvetube, with more cc, it has been tested tested here with good results. As you can see, I have little patience to wait for the power kit jaja...will post more info in the other mod related post

Here a pic

Nicely done edosan. Sometimes you need to fire a rifle a couple times to 'break in' or leave an impression on the seat/seal...other times you need to tear down and lap them together somehow or re-surface one or both surfaces (provided theres a leak remaining). Seems like a few dry fires did the trick for you! Kudos.

Thanks Matt, looks like I was right... :) Great!

I've been thinking about the same. If yours works well I'd like to buy one from you if you're willing. No rush.

Yup, got 2! On 500mm not sure both are slug liners , one is mark as sl

I'm glad you received the correct one. The big question is how do you tell them apart? The Smooth Twist is easy but the slug VS pellet liners look the same.

Sometimes in a busy thread the questions get overlooked.

I can answer this for you. An easy way to tell is to measure the twist rate. This can be done from the outside due to the pressed-in rifling. Whatever your pellet liner is, the slug liner will be faster. For instance, if the pellet liner measured 1:21, the slug liner will be something like 1:18 or faster...........like mine is 1:16.
