After-sales support from manufacturer of Carette compressor in China

Thanks for coming forward. Will you be able to troubleshoot and provide parts ?

Hi Sir, I come to communicate here on behalf of the factory of Carette compressor. The owner of factory doesn't speak English while I have no knowledge of compressor, so I only do the translation job for the factory. About troubleshoot and parts availability of Carette compressor, it all depends on the factory. Basically we could solve all the problems you encounter with our Carette compressor. We want every user of our Carette compressor to know that their purchase will get support from the factory directly if necessary. That product is designed to serve for very long time.

Excellent News! Do you have an exploded view of the compressor with a parts list/part numbers? That would be extremely helpful.

Sorry, there is no exploded view of the compressor currently.

Bosun,

As 'dennisu' asked about above, having an exploded view of the compressor and a reliable source for parts purchase would be a great deal of help for those of us that are comfortable with doing repair work on or own. Not having that information available is a big negative for some of us.

I can go to the Tuxing website and find all of the repair parts I need for their compressors with photos and part numbers and I can order those parts directly from the factory. That is a very big advantage being able to look at photos of all the compressor parts and even order them on line. You should think about doing the same so that Carette owners can accurately order the parts that they need.

Thanks, Chip

Bosun I feel that most of us are happy with the performance of our Carette compressors but worry about longevity and the current lack of support. Please relay the wants specified by cwcarrera above to the factory owner. Strong factory support would be a big step toward improving confidence in the Carette brand. Again, thank you for your input! Uj

I am a current owner of the Carrett compressor and can say that after only 60 hours of use I have had two complete failures to reach high pressure. The first failure took over 1.5 years to be fixed due to having to deal directly with the factory in China and language issues. Until there is a reliable parts and repair process established in the US, I can not recommend this product. I am literally giving my compressor away for salvage and buying one that is locally supported. This is very unfortunate because the compressor has many great features if it only had competent support and was designed to last longer.

PS

Today I gave the Carrett away for scrap. An expensive mistake.
