Aeon scopes

I own 2 and have been very happy with them. Both are 6-24. Very easy to zero and hold zero.

I own three. two 10-40x56 and one 8-32x50. Nice and bright with repeatable clicks. no problems to date.

Ask them about a warranty if used on a springer..

Excelent for the dollar. I have borrowed an 8-32x50 for FT, liked it. Have the 10-40x with trajectory reticule, very nice, good glass.
These are not outstanding "clicking" scopes. Thus the reason my friend was looking to sell the one I used. Now keep in mind FT shooters can wear out a Leupold given enough time.
As far as clicking it certainly isn't an Elite 4200 but cost a ton less too.
If your mostly a hold over shooter you will like their scopes.

It had very good optics considering the price and actually had less flare than any scope I own/owned. While the Aeon held zero on the R9 it did develop a lot of sidewheel backlash with use and the focus was inconsistent even though I used the Aeon side wheel. Toward the end I would focus on a target at 30 yards, mark the sharp focus, de-focus and refocus at the same distance. I would focus on the target three times and end up with three separate marks on the sidewheel. This was unacceptable for hunter class field target use where scope rangefinding is a big part of the game so I returned the scope under warranty. Since the scope was warrantied for "springer use" the warranty was honored and I received a new scope, but I was also informed by Aeon that the scope was no longer "springer rated" and the warranty was void even if the Aeon side wheel was used.

It does appear that now the Aeon scopes are once again warranted for springers and their add on side wheel with this caveat....

Since this is an older thread, does anyone have any more recent experience with Aeon 10-40 or 8-32? I got a 6-24 just this week and could not focus it. It’s going back but is it worth my time to try one of the higher power Aeons? I do like the trajectory reticle. Thanks.
