AEA's Challenger PRO (Regulated Powerhouse) Full Review / 80 foot pounds in .22

Hey guys. This week I was able to shoot the brand new, regulated, AEA Precision Challenger Pro. This full review will show you this magnum power .22 caliber PCP rifle as well as test the accuracy. This is definately one of the most powerful PCP rifles available today..and it's regulated and accurate! This is the first of 3 Challenger Pro videos on the way. I also have the .25 cal and .30 cal models here that I will review soon. Great platform! Thanks for watching -Nate

Hey that's pretty good you can do a full review with less than 50 shots threw the gun sounds like it would be quite a test on the gun lol

I pulled it out of the box and shot it. What do you want me to do? Give it a massage?

Are people interested in the gun as it comes from the factory? or would they rather I shoot the gun for 500 rounds and then show the best group out of 5 days of shooting.

How about I just shoot the gun and show what happens on the FIRST TAKE...good or bad.

It's called an honest review. No time to fake results...sorry. I have a life outside of making airgun videos.

I don't know I just figured if you do a full review you would get a little more trigger time behind it I understand people are busy too

Your actually right. If I was doing a full review I would have shot it at 75 yards or maybe 100. My channel right now is about cranking out videos as fast as possible, without totaly compromising quality. I bit off a little more than I could chew with my FX deal...so now I have FX waiting for videos, plus I keep saying YES to people sending me free guns...

so for now I have to do these videos as fast as possible...but to me that just means "50 yards only" for a while...when I'm caught up, I will be able to relax and spend more time with the guns.

Careful what you wish for

waiting (paid gigs) Evanix IBEX / Evanix Cloud Ultra / Crosman 362 / Hatsan Flash / some $99 scopes / ZEUS Gen 1 / Zeus Gen 2 / Challenger Pro .25 / Challenger Pro .30 / AEA HP 357 Max / RAW XLR Black Laminate / T4E Revolver Umarex / 9 more FX video on the M3 (all calibers) / ...probably should do more Delta Wolf vids past 35 yards / .22 Delta coming soon / Vulcan 3 100 yards needs editing / .22 LCS on the way exchanged for 4 videos / .25 Origin on the way

...so yeah...I'm pretty screwed right now. ...just gotta get those M3 videos done before the M4 comes out I guess!

Thank you sir for the time and effort spent on your reviews. The enlightenment provided benefits all of us. The star of this review appears to be a real game changer and I look forward to the review of her siblings in .25 & .30. Keep up the good work!

I’m fairly confident that most avid air gunners would agree - for the money you simply won’t get this kind of performance!

Personally I like the quick and dirty reviews. If a gun shoots like garbage out of the box and is a bear to use.... then it is a hard pass. But if the first tin or under shoot great and things perform smoothly, then it is a product that is worth looking at. That at least shows that the company has some sort of quality control and will put out a good product.

Lets be honest. I am a distributor and I will be honest. There are very few reviews where a person is given free guns and does not give mostly positive reviews for any company. It is because the reviews are mostly positive that they flood to certain people to get their reviews. AEA makes some great guns and the Challenger pro is one of the best. Aside from being a distributor I am a consumer and I just wish there was more honesty. Sure they may throw a negative in once in a while but paid reviews with cash or guns would not be offered if you are giving honest reviews all the time. I am going to start making videos but they will be 100% authentic real reviews and I will not accept payment of any kind for them. My facebook is Matthew Delbosque.

Thank you,

I agree with Matthew...the only thing is I think I do my reviews in a way that "can't be faked"...so sighting the gun in straight out of the box right on camera, showing the shot string, and shooting 20-30 shots at 2 different distances: I think that's alot different than showing only 5-15 shots in every video. The other thing is I film all my videos (the shooting parts) on the first take. I don't have time or pellets to sit down day after day till I get the groups I want. It's basicly like going to a shooting contest everytime I film a video. I usually have to wait till the wind is calm...so I only have 1 chance anyway.

Airgun reviews are complicated...no one is going to make free videos for long...but then it's hard to say something bad about a free gun.

If you were talking about me, that's OK. I could have said something about how the regulator doesn't really regulate anything...and the point if impact changes...but all you have to do it pay attention when your watching the video, and you will see this for yourself. See how the POI jumps all over the bullseye? and the FPS goes down like 60 FPS in a steady line...

....sorry, I'm rambling now. Gotta go shoot.

Also, MACABESPEED is an example of someone who can't be bought, they do exist. Free gun or no, he won't hide anything. They were not too happy when he showed a valve dump one time...but that guy will hang up on a manufacturer if they even try and tell him what to say. I talk to him all the time. He always askes me to "come to the dark side", and I tell him to go easy on the gun makers. He won't.
