AEAC's got a Neutron Star! Whose ready for pics, vids, & an RDW!!!

Mr. Steve,

I was just telling my best friend last night about this rifle and how it looks like one of the few Hatsan's

whose magazines can definitely fit at least short slugs like the NSA's. Lo and Behold I just noticed to my

surprise this is the next RDW, so I am seiked. I believe this rifle also comes with a single shot tray

The single shot tray is the worst I have ever seen. It doesn't fit the receiver side to side. Or on the bottom side. There is a 2mm gap under it in addition to not being wide enough. But one for the FX crown is easily adapted

Mine fits with a lot of play too, as does the magazine. But that doesn't seem to hurt accuracy, it may actually improve it as it does the ease of forward cycling with the mags. I did notice that the Baracuda domed don't feed well at all with the mags causing flyers, but everything else feed well.

But yeah, this magazine design was borrowed from FX, so it's no surprise their shot trays are adaptable 😊

I have to say I do like the magazines. And the fact that my two hatsans use the same size magazine as well.

That does make sense that they got the design from FX. The grooves cut in the front are the exact same size of both magazines FX and Hatsan. Plenty of capacity length for slugs as well 🙂 I think I measured 13mm. Don't quote me on that though.

Some body know how degacing a hatsan neutronstar? Safety mode thank

Slightly unscrew the air gauge on the under side

No barrel should look like that no matter the brand it is plainly a defective unit. The barrel should be smooth throughout it's entire length.

Performance testing showed it to be far from defective... somewhat of a magic barrel rather. It's quite special actually.

Steve

That's crazy it would look like that and shoot that good. Hard to complain about that. Mine shoots OK with many pellets but has too many flyers.

I got mine for $536 shipped NIB, so I can't really complain 😂

Some of the machining wasn't so hot. I did take some sharp edges off here and there. But overall everything has looked quite good on mine. And I can say that for real, because it is completely disassembled.

Probe is currently being sleeved up. From 177 to 22 caliber. And a 7" shorter, thinner, and lighter barrel is being made for it. I think 7.5lbs or very close with scope is within reason.

This one didn't shoot any pellets well at 50 & 100 except the JSB Redesigns, sort of. It did however do great with 3 different slugs at those ranges. Steve

I've been looking for a slug gun and was considering an Impact but really don't want to spend 2K on it. Is this Hatsan on par with accuracy out to 100-150 yrds with the Impact? Any advise is appreciated

While there's nothing out there really that can compare with the whole package ya get in an Impact for $2K, I did put 4/5 FX Hybrid slugs in a 3/4 inch hole at 100 yards in the wind with the NeuteonStar yesterday, and it shoots the NSAs at about 1" in the same windy conditions. Steve
