Nice review Steve!
All three of my Weihrauch rifles HW98, HW50 and HW30 also do well with the H&N Terminators out to that 20-25yrd range and for a lite pellet they seem to hit hard.
I was torn between getting the HW98 and the HW97K but ultimately settled on the 98 because it would be easier to load pellets with a pellet pen in the winter months although there are time I wish I went the 97 route.
I also really enjoy my MTC Optics Mamba Ultralite aside from the ir issues with their push button switch, I'm glad I found a way to get the switch to work properly and reliably. Currently mounted on my HW50 Hunter with UTG Pro rings which seems like a perfect fit for that rifle that I hunt with.
By the way I will gladly take that tan Weihrauch hat as it should go well with my black one! lol Or perhaps I 'll give it to my goddaughter who really enjoys shooting my HW30S Urban Pro...

I already have the Black hat, would love to have the Tan to match! That rifle would be a lovely addition to my Beeman 97K .22 stainless.

Thank you for your review. Back about 30 years ago the HW77 was THE FT rifle, period. I shot one on a sunday and ordered one on Monday. I just bought an HW 97K to shoot just for fun and it is fun. Weihrauch is sort of like Smith & Wesson. Some of there stuff is better than other stuff, but they just don't make any junk.

Thanks for the video Steve. Been thinking about springer. I do wish you had done this in the .22. I'd be interested to see if it was copacetic with all the nice things you liked in the .177. Barrel alignment, energy transfer down range, etc. Really is a beauty of a gun. Throw a nice sling on and go for an extended walk through the woods.

The HW 97K has been in my sites for a very long time I would like to add it to my CollectionUpvote 0
It's more that the longer pellet dwell time of a heavier round in the barrel makes it more difficult by exaggerating any flaws in the shooter's technique. I've successfully shot the Hatsan Mod125 in .25 out to 75 very accurately due to its fast everything, lol.
