AEAC video - Weihrauch HW95 Luxus .22

Interesting timing. I've recently been on the fence about an HW95 vs the HW50. After some very helpful insight from a few folks here,I ordered an HW50 in .177 from AOA . Should be here later next week and I'm very excited. Something about the simplicity, mechanics and soul of a good springer that just turns my crank! Thanks for the video Steve!

I enjoyed this video much more than most vids I have seen. I appreciate especially the low level of hype. Don't agree with everything said but no big deal. The Rekord trigger is still an excellent trigger. While there are better triggers I don't think any are easier to adjust. Robert Beeman deserves some credit in the adult airgun arena but Mr. Law deserves a bit more. Mr. Beeman was a better salesman, that's all, he certainly was not first.

Incidently, I have an HW 60 which is a smallbore rifle. I shoot it regularly and it holds its' own against the higher priced smallbores, including my Anschutz 1907.

Again, very nice video Steve.

I enjoyed that video. I think the HW95 is one of the best air rifles ever produced.

A feature not mentioned in the video is its ease of servicing- it can be rebuilt by anyone with a few tools and moderate mechanical ability. A spring kit, or even just a lube job and piston sleeve will give it a more solid, twang-free firing cycle, to make for a truly world-class shooting experience.

..... in 5mm (.20 cal) with vortek pg2 kit , the hw95 (beeman r9) is hands down the most awesome all-around break barrel i have ever had..... on my youtube channel , rane air , i use it as the ' gold standard ' for which i compare others (mine was an r9 goldfinger) . a near constant 800 fps with 11.4 grain ftt pellets coupled with the majik of .20 caliber enabled mine to cloverleaf at even 60 yards from a bench - very effective 17-18 ftlb hunter. this aaec fellow is dedicated , this is good. i would tout that the barrel of an airgun would be the soul , and the trigger the brain......and i , too , was disheartened by the void of mentioning robert law (air rifle headquaters) as how weihrauch more possibly first came into the u.s. but this is good. ... and this website has really evolved !! cheers. - raneman .
