Interesting pre-review, I watched it last night right after you posted it and it is pretty cool how they took one action and did so much with it. Which isn't new(FX), except at this price point. lt is kinda ugly but I get what you're saying about not having to take your hand off for reloading. Like you mentioned though, the elephant in the room is, the noise issue. I know it is not in your pervue to modify the test guns but I know the first thing that I would do is whatever I had to, to get a DonnyFL-anything on the end of that barrel. I am really impressed with how well these "low-end" Hatsan's shoot; and the Flash series finally dealt with their biggest problem, -WEIGHT! That is what always kept me away before, no more, and these are a steal compared to most. I look forward to your full review, I like all of your pellet testing. There is no way that I would take a chance on buying a lot of pellets w/o seeing them work for somebody first. I hope those pile drivers hold up at distance because I won't buy slugs until they are cheaper than .22LR bullets.

always have been fond of 'lever actions'. not sure about this one tho'. the action might be a little difficult to manipulate for those of us with shorter arms. difficult to tell without getting my hands on one.

Thx for another full review Steve. I was holding off on this lever action until this review I'm am sold nice air rifle for it's price point.

I am not much of an air gunner but when I do I normally use or buy Crosman/Benjamin air guns. But this one has gotten my attention! I love underlever action guns, the feel of it is so much better to me than a bolt. This thing is kinda ugly but it grows on you type of ugly. I may have to start saving to get one after my Navy Unit Reunion trip this July. Steve thanks for another great review!!! Keep them coming to us!!!!!

Wow, this looks really sweet! I'm kind of curious about the possibility to add regulation to this gun. For my purposes it's a bit loud and overpowered. I'd like to see if it would be possible to quiet it down, increase shot count and velocity consistency without affecting accuracy.

I cut the muzzle break off and screwed a donnyfl on it and it became more accurate and much more quiet! 

I really like the hatson vectis lever action I want one in 25 cal I think it would be a good gun for hunting.

The under lever will certainly be different but man that does seem like the ultimate gun to be rugged with. Those beautifully checkered stocks make me want to keep it in the case but that poly coating seems perfect for me. And the FPE is outstanding. Much respect to Hatsan. 

So it is possible?! I was wondering about that myself.

Do you have any more info on how you did this? It's something i'd like to do, but I don't want to ruin my vectis in the process. How much more did it improve the accuracy?

plujos.......That is awesome. Well done! Were you able to test the DonnyFL up to a decibel meter?

Also, what means/tools did you use to cut the factory end off to mount the DonnyFL?

I just purchased a Vectus in .22 from Hatsan..

I did this mod too. IIRC it brought it down to around 68 decibels from about 10ft away. (It's been a while but I think that's what it was.)

Definitely brought the noise down. It's definitely not silent, but more akin to a pneumatic nail gun imo.
