The scopes look great and I’m very happy for Matt. I personally though don’t have tons of cash to blow on my hobby anymore. Therefore, I need some help, near or far.
A. A FFP any type to borrow & try. I have a friend with a large personal collection and is a dealer for many high end scopes, guns, etc.
B. Find a good glass 1x10? 3x12, 4x16, 6x24.
I owned a few 4200 6x24 Bushnell’s. Great as far as glass. Don’t think I need a 8x36, or would just get a Weaver T series. Neither has enough elevation for me now on a .22 to .257 slug shooter.
I’m gonna wait until JWR does the reviews on his Cyclops scope review YouTube channel. But; I think a 2ndFP SWFA Blackhound, or other are in the running.
https://youtu.be/nyj4gVrA2yA just a link for those that don’t know. JWR doesn’t BS on scopes.
Being I think the 1x10 illuminated March scope is super sweet, who knows. High power is needed, or a Televid spotter would be nice. Lol. No but seriously is there a good scope with a very good range finder on it around?
I know of Burris Eliminator 1-3 but that’s definitely a LR CF scope. I don’t need the BDC programs like an Eliminator is programmed for all Centerfire calibers. Just a great ARC range finder and illuminating fine reticle. I’ll even say no illumination for a fine reticle. It would be very hard to have it all in one scope.
What you guys think? I just saw a $499 night vision scope. Good to 200 yards. I do want for Yotes & Fox which are hitting our 4 local farms.
