AEA Challenger .357 / 9mm

I just bought one of these ,.. it shipped out today ... they look to be a power house right out of the box .... Sig shooter on youtube told me it's shooting 125 g slug = 900fps 3600 psi jsb 81g 1000 fps or more ... it cost 500 bucks comes with 1 mag plus fill probe .... I own 2 xp air guns ... ranger .45 36inch barrel ,and the badger .40 so it will be interesting to see how this AEA challenger does compared to my XP air guns ..... happy shooting ... Dan H

AEA warranty wise they have a repair /exchange for defective product warranty policy , .... I gotta tell you guys this is a lot better than being on GTA I was just banned from there LOL ! HA ! HA ! we had problems with the DAR guns leaking from bad/defective o rings ,and they have no replacements for this problem ,and they have known for some time months about this problem ,and have not taken the time to get quality replacement o rings , and they cant tell you the size of the o rings, customer service was almost nill 1 of the guys that shipped his gun in for repair was ignored by them for going on 2 months , they would not respond to his emails or phone calls .... after some discussion of this with myself being a part of this since I bought 2 DAR guns .22 and .25 , and had my .22 leaking at every end ! LOL ! ..... I went to log in the other day and magically I was banned ! I guess we must of hit a nerve with them - GTA exposing DAR problems ....

The guy at AEA answered his phone right away and explained in great detail what he had gun wise , and parts , and when new shipment of gun's /barrels/parts were coming in . he was a very nice guy to talk to laughed a lot very positive and help full .... and that right there is why I bought this .357 Challenger from him , I am going to be casting him some pellets ,and bullets to try out hope fully he shows the results on youtube ... I like the modular inter-changeable parts set up ideas AEA has ....

You get banned on GTA if you’re running a VPN. That’s happened to a lot of people, it happened to me a couple of times.

Turn your VPN off and clear the cache on your browser. You will be able to log in again.

BINGO ! we have maybe a winner ! ..... I run IPVANISH on my tv and computers it blocks all the tracking garbage ! and if that is the case I probably wont post at GTA any more , as it works with AGN - IPVANISH plus dessenter to search threw .... I am at a point of not using google , bing, twitter ,face book , and the like .... I am canceling out as much of big tech as I can ... its none of their bizz what I do on line ... its time to cancel the cancel culture out of my life as much as possible ...

I tried it several different ways and it still says I am banned LOL ! I had to put pass words back in on several sites to get them to log in so it should have worked I think ?.... I probably need to have some one pm travis to find out for sure .... or maybe you could look at the DAR thread and see my post and see if it says I am banned might be a quick way .... thanks.... I met sig shooter this weekend at AEA northeast one of his dealers. Picked up a .357 challenger SL 24 inch barrel. I’m waiting on the Alpha 6 to arrive from extreem tactical hopefully in a few days. The rifle has a good weight for the size and the wood stock fits perfect. Even got a free tin of JSB 81 grains and some slugs to test out.

looks really nice , I hope mine looks this good when it comes in , what do those slugs weigh ?

Gunfighter

if I remember correctly the slugs are 125 grains should be available very soon from AEA northeast. Once my scope comes in I’ll zero the rifle and then test the slugs. I’ll get some chrony numbers.

Ok so those were the 125g he said he could push with high power spring to 900 fps .... not bad .... the 32 inch barrel should hit hit around 940 -50 fps ? ... I think I am going to get the longer barrel also for this gun ... XP badger .40 150 g slug at 950 fps 3800 psi 28 inch barrel ... so the Challeger is looking pretty good in comparison ...

The sample slugs are 97g made by proslugs in 357

What are they sized to ? right at .357 ? and have you guys figured out which size works best ? jsb pellets {front round part }run about .356.5

This NOE mold I will be ordering I think .... its about 88g a little more done with flat nose instead of hollow point , I have their .357 pellet mold ,and they work fantastic ... I need to get another sizing die .356 to start with since the carnivore .357 I have likes that size ,and will need it for that gun ,and maybe it works for the Challenger would be nice ... testing will tell ..good to hear results from AEA that always helps going in the right direction ,so you don't waist to much money if possible , and there is the fact that every barrel on a given model of gun can be just a bit different on what it likes ... i think you will like that mold as a compliment to the pellet mold. I have the MP version of it along with the NOE pellet mold (I prefer the heavy weight pin for the pellets) With 915fps MV, the hollow points open up like nickels at 60 yards. Hopefully the twist of the Challenger isn't too fast....
