Advice needed about tactical slings please

So I want to buy either a 2 point or 3 point tactical sling for traditional hunting rifle sling mounts that are under the stock. I want to be able to quick detach from my Benjamin Akela, and be able to put the setup on a model 7 Remington 243. We drive whitetail here, and I'm tired of humping through the woods having to hold my rifle all the time while I'm climbing over and through brush. I need the rifles to rest right on my chest and be ready to shoulder, but not want to roll over, upside down when it's hands free. How to I achieve this with sling mounts that are underneath like tradition hunting rifles?

Thank you for your time

I don't have a picture so I'll try to describe the setup I use.

You want the rear sling mount ON TOP of the butt stock and the forward mount on the (inside) side of the fore forestock. Then hang the sling over your neck and the rifle should hang against your chest without rolling over. Results may vary with optic choice, a big scope is still going to want to roll away.

With a wood stock you'll have to move the rear sling stud to the top and then add a small section of rail to the side of the stock.

There's a whole world of options for slings, types of slings and sling mounting locations. The only problem I see is the mounting locations for airguns especially the sides of the forend. They need to be durable with minimal flex in the forend. Mounting a sling around the barrel or air cylinder/tank of a PCP airgun might not be a good idea given point of impact shifts and that they are just not that durable. For airgun manufacturers, sling mounting points is an afterthought besides the traditional sling stud mounting locations underneath the forend and buttstock. I prefer a 2 point quick detachable (QD) sling that can cinch up against your chest, over the shoulder, against the back and allow quick adjustments for each position. Durable mounting locations is the key.

Here's a quick video and I'm not endorsing or promoting this brand. You're gonna have to do a lot more research on your end but hope this helps a little.

I have not looked a that brand, Magpul slings, but I will now thank you. A far as mounting studs to the top of the butt stock or anywhere else for that matter I'm not interested in. I have 2 or 3 other high power rifles for whitetail hunting that I will be using this on, so no way will I drill and tap all of those stocks. There is somehow two threads for this in here lol, I asked the mods to delete the other, but they moved it here instead. In that thread they posted a video and the guy has a 3 point tactical sling connected to one spot on the rifle. I think that will work for my Akela on the scope riser base, but I still need a solution for my hunting rifles. I'll look up the brand mentioned. Thank you

Just be careful not to mount a sling with all the weight bearing towards the front. Especially on a scope base. With the Akela, there's a lot of dead space underneath the scope rail. I can see why they did that so the barrel can be free floating. If they had another section of aluminum towards the front that clamps the barrel and air tube, then maybe. Maybe. Good luck in your search.
