I like a really smooth low tension break on the 2nd stage. I found I'd have a target in the crosshairs, using a trigger stick, and it took quite awhile for the 2nd stage to release and fire the rifle. I watched Ernest's video explaining how the trigger worked. Took the stock off the gun and backed out the adjustment screw for the 2nd stage one full turn. That's just about where I want it. Bounced it around a little and tried the safety after the adjustment and it seems just fine. I first tried 1/2 a turn and could hardly tell the difference. Now it doesn't take as long getting on target and firing the shot.

Taking off the triggers mechanisms cover plate is a GREAT idea, it will show you first hand whats happening threw out the cocking and firing cycle

I was a little paranoid at first taking off the cover plate. You've probably done that in different applications and suddenly all the parts inside spring loose and go everywhere. Not only can you not find all of them, you have no idea where they were. LOL.
