Adjustable scope mounts on a springer

You may try to Flip your rings around 180 degrees and see if that helps.

If that doesn't work you can shim the Droop mount at one side at the rear of the clamp section or bend your barrel towards the scopes optical center.

Get Burris Signature rings with plastic inserts for djustment. Be sure to buy optional +20 and -20 inserts. Read their website about them. IMO they are the best adjustable rings sold. They never leave ring marks on the tube, they never bend the scope tube,and they grip better than competition.

Bending the barrel is always a option that is actually easy to do.

Nothing would surprise me any more regarding aluminum constructed scope mounting hardware nowdays.

I would try also as a last resort flipping the drooper mount backwards just to see if your GUN dovetails and or barrel is really screwed up. NEVERMIND if it shoots real low you want to see if it's the gun or the adaoter at fault. See if it shoots in the opposite horizontal direction thats all.

Barrel bending is easy to do, and it doesn't take much to correct a problem. I have used this on 2 springers with great results. Sounds scary, but its not really. I used a peice of leather to cover the barrel and put wooden blocks in a vise. Positioned the rifle pointing down with the barrel clamped near the breech. Pull the stock and relax a couple of times, then check it out. Repeat to get it close, and adjust scope to dial it in.

You need some rocks to try it the first time around. It takes a pretty strong pull to move it any at all, but once you get the feel, it can be done very accurately. The results are imperceptible to the naked eye if you do it right. This will allow you to keep your scope near the optical center.
