Me personally, once I get a gun to shooting like I want it I leave it alone.  You guys that own Crowns, Impacts, WAR and other interchangeable calibers, barrels and so forth;  do you actually take advantage of the many options after you initially customize the gun?

I only ever mess with the power level setting, and that’s it.

I had a Compatto with the power dial, 3 stops. I actually did use it, but it was not very good at what it was supposed to do, so I ended up just leaving it. That being said, if I had a reliable power adjuster, like maybe the Streamline (so I hear) I would use it. High power for squirrels, low-med for birds.

First thing I do is I take note of how it was adjusted by the dealer/factory. That way I can bring it back if what I do hurts performance sometimes the rifles are poorly adjusted from the vendor. Then you have the fun job of doing a tune.

I do actually. But I bought my WARP with the knowledge of it was going to likely be my only PCP from here on out. I have both a .22 and .30 barrel with the externally adjustable Cobra Regulator. Very easy to change between calibers and can have it switched and tuned in less than 30 minutes if wanted.

    Yup,
Mine was tuned extremely low from the factory.

I use my hammer spring adjuster on my crown 25 cal. I have the regulator up to 140 bar and hammer spring adjuster to max. It’s shooting the 34 grain jsb at 850 fps. That’s 54 fpe. When I want to shoot the 25.4 grain jsb I put the hammer spring on 4 shooting around 890 fps. I get 50 shot with 34 grains and 60 plus with 25.4 grain.

quote = “zeus”] Hi, I have an aerodynamic in .25, I use two powers of the 3 that it has, in one use jsb king and in the other jsb king heavy. I have a curve for each one and I use them according to the work I’m going to do. I do not change anything in the regulator, I must say that the power change is surprisingly accurate. greetings [/ quote] Do you have a link for that rifle? I do not know it, where does it come from?
