I add two side cocking lever's this weekend to a gen2 and gen4. They both used the very same kit. Ive had a chance to shoot both guns with the side cocking levers now for over 100pellets. I'm asking my self "WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?" The lever's on both guns is as smooth as a silk. Greatly improving the handle ably of the gun. The cocking is flat out A+. With a option of left or right hand side and how smooth it is. IMHA I'd say it's 2nd to none. I know that a bold statement, but it is my personal opinion. Other guns have been said to be smooth but few have the left and right option that are this smooth.
Ive been able to shoot a whole magazine with out lifting my head. Ive set my gun up to be left hand cocking lever. Being a right hand shooter and bullpub stock. It is very comfy. The only problem i see in the future is the cost of pellets. Nothing change other then the cocking nature. The gun's still still spot, smashing pellet on pellet at 50 yards and easily holding a MOA at 100yards. Now to say. The gun's a much better shot than I'm, I could only hope to do my part in the art of fine targets.
If you have a Vulcan gen1-4, I can only recommend you invest in the side cocking lever. I wasn't sorry I did, and doubt you will.
