Added A New Air Rifle to the Family

I got a FX Streamline in .22 caliber. As some of you know I own the FX Wildcat .25 cal. which is my heavy hitter and the FX Verminator in .22 cal but I was ready to get something new. We all can come up with reason to get a new air rifle and the Streamline has a lot going for it for the price. In the video I do some pellet testing for accuracy, velocity and calculated b.c.'s. The rifle is a lot louder than my other factory shrouded rifles. Luckily I had a Neil Clague moderator to put on it to quiet it down. I did order a DonnyFL Sumo for it to see what everyone is talking about. I am still getting used to the short throw cocking lever which is a little rough in cocking. And the trigger pull length is at 14 1/4" which for me is a little long. As mentioned in some other videos on the Streamline it might be hard to find a scope that will work with medium rings. I used UTG high rings which gives me about 1/8" plus clearance above the magazine. The result for me with my 5'-8" frame I can not rest my cheek on the comb to get a good scope eye alignment. In testing different pellets I got 55 shots before coming off the regulator. I am not sure I had it charged to the full 230 bar level I'd get a few more shots but this rifle does a lot with 190 cc of air. The trigger pull on my rifle is 15.6 oz which is excellent but that long trigger pull length makes it a little tougher to get a good feel on the trigger shoe. It may sound like I am being too critical on the rifle but I am giving my honest experience. Overall I do love the rifle with it being regulated, having the power wheel ( gets you more shots the lower you set it), excellent accuracy and the value for the money. Airgun Bill

"FunGun"Did measure the trigger pull weight or is that your experience estimating? Nice video, thanks for sharing.
I measured the trigger pull a half a dozen times and 15.6 oz came up about 4 times. I did cant the trigger shoe in towards my trigger finger pull side to give me a better feel on my long trigger pull length, it helps some. Bill

Hi nice video, I too have a Streamline synthetic and the lenth
of pull (L.O.P.) is way to long, and I'm 5' 10" tall. I took the existing butplate
off and got a Sims Vibration Lab Airtech slip on recoil pad. This is a 0.5 inch small/medium black #10549 for 25.bucks at Optics Planet . It fits like it was made for the gun not to big or small just perfect. For rings I use Talley 22CZRH 1 inch 11MM rimfire high rings for 50 bucks at Optics Planet and magazine fits just under scope tube keeping a low profile and less trajectory guesswork being closer to barrel for close to medium range hunting. This setup makes the Streamline streamline. I also really like the lightweight synthetic stock and plan to camo it soon and install sling swivels.
