Add another one the the happy Streamline owners club!

Hey thanks Chuck!

I am really enjoying the SL. It’s the first “new in box” rifle that I have purchased that I haven’t felt that I needed to do something to it to make it better. I have bought a couple used guns that I didn’t need to do anything to but never a new rifle. It is shooting so well for me that I am afraid to clean the barrel. I didn’t do that immediately after receiving it and I haven’t yet. I’m not going to unless I see accuracy start dropping off.

One thing that surprised me about the SL is how light and slim it is. I guess a person can read about that but never truly understand until they handle one for themselves. I like the feel but it did take a bit of getting used to. I had a Royale 400 so I was used to it’s feel. Very nice rifle that was. Now Rob, flynviking, has it. He shoots it far better than I could.

Anyway, I think I am enjoying my Streamline nearly as much as you are if not more.

I have a shooter! 50 yard with 0-2mph breeze. That’s nothing really to contend with. I shot 11, 5 shot groups. Largest group can be covered with a dime with just a little torn paper showing outside the dime. I couldnt be happier!

"chohan"Very nice.
I believe I spy rugged buddy sawhorse legs under your bench in the last photo.
I used those same legs for my portable bench.

Have fun
Thank you kind sir!
Yes, you do spy those same legs under my table. I think it’s time to rework the top on mine. It was part of an IKEA entertainment armoire and since it’s been in the rain and sun, it has started to de laminate on the top. At least it’s solid wood underneath and not a particle/chip type wood.

Those are some impressive 100yd groups! Your SL is shooting great. I haven't had a chance to get your old Royale out past 43yds on paper yet. It's doing a fine job taking out pest birds.

I'm going to have my work cut out for me if I want to try and get the Royale to match your shooting with the Streamline. Congratulations on a great shooter!

Rob

Thanks Rob! It is a very good shooter, thats for sure. It's making look better than I am. Ha ha!

Let me know when you are going to get up in the area again. Maybe we can meet up and shoot again. You can try the SL.

I'm glad to hear that the 400 is a great pesting tool for you. Next thing we know, you will be posting your hunts on YouTube! That would be cool.

I was thinking about .25 just for the extra weight of the pellet to help buck the wind. I decided on .22 for cheaper ammo and more shots since I pump to fill. I bet your .177 does well at 50??? How many shots does the .177 get on high power? How fast is it shooting? I think the .177 would make a great rifle but it seems many go for the .22 and the .25.

I love the .177 for my application. Shooting Starlings and sparrows. I do not know the fps and I keep it on med power. It is so quiet, flat shooting and hits hard on medium power.

I've had it just a short time and my scuba tank is only charged to 200 bar. I refill the guns reservoir at ~150 bar.. I would guess about 50+ shots from 200bar to 150 bar.

I have a FX Superswift in 22 cal with 8 shot mag. It has the "pistol" grip that I love..Very accurate rifle and even with a Hugget it still has a report that I would tamed.. I may try and reduce the FPS.. Or just buy another SL in 22..

The 25 is just too large for my application and it appears the direction of PCP's the 22 cal is going to make a come back..
