Acecare tank valve and o-rings

Folks,

For those with the double red knob/valve setup. What is the deal with the included bag of o-rings?

Are they spares or needed for initial install? The black o-ring in the upper left of the bag looks like it fits in the space just above it, but why would only one need to be installed and the others already on? What are the white ones for? Sorry and Thanks guys

I just bought an Acecare tank 6 months ago and I am happy with it. The white washers are actually spare valve seats for the air bleed valve and the other valve.

I went ahead and inserted that one larger black o-ring from the bag here:

I just thought it odd that only one of the four 'spare' parts would need to be inserted for initial use.

Do you know what size that O-ring is, the one you inserted? (Need inside, outside diameter and thickness) I need to get one for my valve but wasn’t able to find anything close in size when using the valve to get approx measurement. My O-Ring fell out somewhere, never to be seen again.

The measurements I got were:

od 16mm

id 11.5 mm

cs 2.25mm

close to a standard p12 (right) but just a touch smaller.

Did you ever figure out where that smaller black o-ring goes?

The DIN or G 5/8 does not come preinstalled for the simple reason that it will fall out in transit without something to hold it in place. It's a good idea to add a smear of silicone grease to hold it in place whilst connecting to your botte. The smaller O-ring is probably a QD fitting spare.

I did not figure out where it goes, but Eaglebeak's comment makes sense. I have never had the male QD apart to check.

Thanks for providing the official " DIN or G 5/8" name. I measured in mm as it was Chinese. good to know
