I know it’s the old model but wanted the longer/heavier legs. Very impressed with the quality and just how easy it is to adjust. It’s probably a bit too big to go hunting with but is fantastic off the bench. I was surprised at just how much more stable the gun is. I was not expecting that bigger difference.
The wide stance and low centre of gravity I’m sure helps stabilise the gun but the other factor is the weight. It’s not excessively heavy but I have noticed the extra weight does make a difference to how much the gun moves on firing. It’s sits still and I’m noticing I can trace the flight of the pellet more often. It really does help improve accuracy.
Overall very happy with my new purchase and thanks Tom for drawing our attention to the Accu-tac gear.
