I don't have one, but having been watching the classifieds, refurbs, ebay, etc looking for the HC version in .22. Beautiful rifles and hope to own one someday...

I think it is one of the best springers of all time,,,,I have it plus I have the HW97....TX200.177 HW97.22...I like .22 more than .177.

I like the 97 more because I can load it easier and again it is a .22....for me it is about loading...big fingers,not ,"Sticky Fingers".

Both are fine choices, have oned and worked on both. If you have fat fingers, both can be difficult to load. I prefer the TX because it is so much easier to work on and in my opinion has th better trigger. I do like the smaller barrel on the 97, it reminds me of the MK2 on the Tx models. I believe the smaller barrel gives better balance especially for offhand shots. If you go with the .22, get the one with the best velocity, you will need that in a springer. 

Agreed. My TX200 shoots great but my 97K just feels better in practically every way. The only things I really prefer on the TX are its looks and ease of teardown.

I have (3) TX’s. A MK2.177, MK3.22, and a MK3.22 HC. The .22 HC is my favorite to shoot out of the 3. But I grab my .22 HW97 over all. 

The TX200  is one of my first rifles. Dirty accurate. Always fumbled with the pellets .22 cal. Of all my rifles hardest to load. I just got a second Pro Sport in .177 which I thought might be trouble, but no.

I own both in .177. The AA stock fits better as it is not ambidextrous like the HW. Once you customize stocks and internals, all bets are off as both are now better equally depending on the kit

I have to admit I had a lot of trouble loading my TX200 .22. Always fumbling the pellets in the breach. Back then I did a fair amount of woodworking and I did a lot of hand sanding to the point of having little grip. I haven’t built anything in a long time, thanks to airguns. 
Today I shot my 200 with a big smile, no fumbling. Second thoughts I’d now consider it in .177. Still 97 easier to load. Crow 

Sweet collection....I only have one tx 200 in 177 but I will consider a 22 down the road . My 177 is walnut but I think I'm going to try the 22 cal beech stock.
