Sadly, when I tried to select the product i wants the price adjusted and the low prices disappeared.

I followed the eBay link

After clicking on options to see spare probes & spare O rings; when I returned to the Quick Fill Set the price had changed to 69.95GBP

I don't think it's a scam, but just the way the listing is structured.

Best to check the price before confirming the purchase

Especially after going to the listing and seeing the low price again

I clicked Buy it Now and after selecting the Fill Set, it went to the 69.95GBP again

Also of note is that with eBay listings, if you click on the number of items sold a pop up list or recent sales appears that shows

user id (abbreviated)

sale price

quantity

date

This does not happen with this listing,



I've reported the problem to eBay



However eBay does not make it easy to report issues, as the categories are only items that protect their own interests

I put it is as a fraudulent listing.

However there was no opportunity to explain why I considered it fraudulent



Perhaps an email to the seller asking for an explanation would be the best approach for anyone interested in buying

Robert Lane is a quality outfit. Serious engineering, passionate about PCPs and always willing to help. Looks like a bona fide IT error to me.

The lower price is for just the pack of spare probe seals.



Select the fill probe and it will be 12 or 13 bucks, and then select he quick fill for another price.



Nothing shady, it just shows the price for cheapest item as default.

As Parrotculler pointed out; Robert Lane runs a respectable operation

Therefore it's likely not to be underhanded, or intended to cheat anyone.,

And I have no bone to pick with him

But it is very, very misleading



Consider that he title of the listing is

Air Arms / CZ S200, Compatable Quickfill & Pressure Gauge, by Lane Regulators

and the accompanying photo is of the fill set

There is no mention of the probe or the O rings until he options are selected

I had actually ordered one earlier this year and was famillar with the advert, but I apparently either missed the cheapo pricing or discounted its significance, if any, due to it being a business with a solid reputation.
