A very nice "slug" for long range shooting with LW barrels

Some time ago in one of my trips (Europe) I bought from a local store a few tins of a strange bullit shaped projectile ( I am very much interested in long range shooting and I like to try all different pellets/slugs I can find in my .22 AirArms s510.

Since I didn't have enough time for shooting at that time, I placed them in my pellet cabinet and nearly forgot them for quite a long time: BIG mistake!

I recently started shooting and testing them and I find them very very good for long range shooting in my Lothar Walther barrelled Air Arms.

Although I don't have much info about them, here's what they do:

Absolutely to the point!

This is exactly what I thought when I first started shooting them!

I had enough of the power limitations of my rifle and although I pushed it a little (past a certain point I had serious problems with the consistency of any pellet/slug I had tried) I was about to move in another caliber for long ranges.Well...until now... :)

They are light enough to shoot them with a decent velocity but the most important is they have a fantastic BC!

Unfortunately there is no much info about them and have no idea if they are made in .25 as well.

They were contained in small plastic boxes without any info.Later on I managed to find on the net a batch of slugs with that exact shape/dimensions and I ordered all the tins I could find (very few).

On the tin ithere is the name (Spoton bullets) , the manufacturer (Disechi), and the script "with italian technology"

They are 7.9 mm long (0.31'') and weigh 26 grains

Those are probably rebranded Eley magnums. Unfortunately they're discontinued..
