A question about fx Impact with power plenum

I received an FX Impact PP latest model with 700mm .22 pellet liner. I installed Edgun digital guage and set the reg at 90 bars. It shoots 18 grain pellets at 900fps.

It has been broken in since around 5k shots have gone through it.

The problem is that whenever I stop shooting for around 6 to 8 hours and then I again start shooting, it starts from from 880 fps. There is no decrease or increase in the pressure when it performs at 880 fps and 900 fps. So I understand that it is not the reg problem.

It takes around 20 shots each time to get back to 900fps.

This is the first time I am facing this phenomenon.

Please share your suggestions.

Its probably the regultor doing it. Try putting a digital gauge in place of the regulator manometer you will see it because you REALLY can't SEE it on an analog gauge. If accuracy is consistent and POI stays the same from the first 20 shots on to the rest of the useable fill pressure worth of shots I really wouldnt worry about it and just leave it alone. Put a Lea & Perrins Worchestershire cap on that gauge instead of tape.

Dear please read the original post it already has Edgun digital guage and pressure remains sane even when the fps misbehaves

Although you don't think it's the regulator, I still think it's the Belleville washers. The hammer spring and valve adjuster wouldn't act like this. Exactly 880 to 900 fps, they would be more random. The difference of 20fps could be 1-3 bar. It sounds exactly like the washers sticking, especially if it's been happening for a long time. If you don't want to take apart your regulator, degas the gun entirely and turn your reg. all the way to zero and back up a few times and then set it back to 90BAR and see if the phenomenon acts exactly the same or changed at all. 5 minutes to see if it loosened up the washers. You asked for advise, that's what I think it is. Could be anything. If you want to find the problem just eliminate one variable at a time until you find it. Good luck.

Thank you sir.

It's worth checking what you point out.
