As you can see from the picture Mother Nature threw me a curveball this morning. That tree is about the 40 yard line so all I had to work was 34 good yards. The Wildcat is zeroed in at 35 yards by Utah Airguns so I did not bother moving the POI, I just concentrated on the grouping. That’s one magazine worth of shots. The low hole was just me forgetting how nice the trigger is.

The Vulcan I wanted to sight in at 50 yards so again I did not bother with the POI. Just the group. That’s also a magazine worth and I should have done better. I can also use the excuse I completely forgot to clean the barrel, maybe Tony did before he tuned it up.

That’s all the shooting I did, by 9:am it was already 85 and I was sweating like a pig. Time for the indoors range.

Gotta LOVE that Vulcan 2 Tactic! My Wildcat, .25 Long Edgun , 1st gen .25 Impact , .25 Cricket and Marauders are plenty good but the Vulcan is exceptional. Have you had Tony do any mods to the Vulcan other than a tune up? My Vulcan 2 Tactic loves JSB 25.39 grainers and don't seem to be able to find anything else that shoots as well as they do AND I am now getting more than 500 rounds out before having to clean the barrel. When it was new I had to clean it about every 100 rounds but the barrel seems to have broken in quite well. Every gun I have is a little special but there is definitely a place in my heart for the Tactic. I can't see ever selling that one!

Likkitysplyt.. Tony just did the tune up. He got it set at about 885 using the JSBs 44 grainers. I was hoping to stretch it out to 100 yards.

The Vulcan it’s amazing, you definitely know a pellet was sent down range, almost like a kick. And amazingly quiet for a 30 ca.

On the WC I put a Hugget Magma on it, it is so quiet all I heard was the pellets hitting the target.
