A Little Night Time Action Air Rifle Style

Been spending a lot of time at the new permission/ dairy taking out pigeons, starlings and other pest birds. I know as far as pigeons go I am well over a hundred. The starlings come in during the evening to roost in the barns and I know the only way to put a hurting on them is to go in at night. I have been shooting birds off the silos but also doing inside shooting during the day with my FX Verminator on power setting two and with the Leshiy on low power. I don't want to be shooting holes in the roofs so I have been doing some pellet penetration testing in a clay block. I have now come up with the best rifle and pellet combinations to use. I had asked the farmer if he had any left over tin to shoot. He said no but there was a damage section where I could take some test shots. From about 20 yards away all the pellet did was put a nice dent in the tin. Considering I will be shooting through a bird first the damage should be and as I have seen is very slight.

As far as this first night time shoot I did okay. On this farm they have lights outside about every building. That allows the birds to see and be able to fly out when shooting begins. I am hoping with a few more shoots they will be too scared to come back. In fact this evening I was there doing some silo shooting and the starling would not land on the support wires and were not coming into the building. Could it be working already?
