Wow, does this post bring back memories or what!
In the early 80’s my neighbor got one. It was great for backyard plinking. Grips fit my hand and it pointed naturally for me. Plenty of speed and power but always seemed quiet to me. I loved it.
I eventually got one of my own and shot it all the time. One of the few pistols that I could hit plate sized targets with across the yard without using the sights.
I still have one around here somewhere. Time to start looking for it.
Neighbor / best friend / blood brother & I were walking to a friends house for an evening of pistol plinking. I had my Crosman 38T (degassed) and he had his Powerline pistol (charged, loaded, but not cocked). We saw a rat crossing a power line and he drew his Daisy, cocked it, lined up very quickly and fired. The rat screeched and fell to the ground. My bud yelled “I got it” & I couldn’t believe he had lined up & hit it so quickly. We couldn’t find the rat due to the thick brush but didn’t matter. We still bring up that shot all these years later.
Anyway, neat pistols and one of my favorites. Always thought they had a look a kid could love and be proud of, like the older all metal Daisy 880 Powerline rifles.
