You are in fact correct.

However, sometimes I feel a bit more competition would force these suppliers to offer these products at a more affordable and reasonable price. That way, I wouldn't feel that I'm being taken advantage of.

Addendum: Maybe I'll develop and patent the tripod with the front slot that accommodates the duel bottles. The money I'd earn would offset the cost of this expensive hobby.

As you may be able to see from the photo below, the tripod's front support (holding the WC) is only wide enough to accommodate one bottle.

If it is a great idea it makes my life simpler and more enjoyable I take my hat off to all designers and suppliers it's the price of the sport we are in no matter what sport you play there will always be something extra someone invented you have to pay for it I don't complain if I don't need it or want it don't buy? It For those who enjoy like me I think it was a great idea and will gladly pay the price to get one I love mine and $149 is not bad how do you expect companies like daystate FX Brocock Edgun to come out with better ideas technology like daystate put in there Airguns if you don't explore new things and ideas it does not mean they are crooks or ripping someone off most people enjoy there stuff but I think some other people just can't afford it so they complain about it hope they come out with more accessories to make my gun better. Good post! Thank you.

You missed the whole point.it wasn’t about cost it was about appropriation of someone else’s design.

The original idea with drawings belonged to FX, but they decided not to market it for reasons that they have not disclosed or at least I have not heard or read. Neither of the current implementations is exactly like FX's drawings. I find the Side-shot version useful for tuning and bench rest but it doesn't fit in the case and could be inconvenient for packing in the field. There is no doubt that two-bottle guns have always had a smaller market than single bottle guns.
