A few HW35's

Here are some rare HW35's and a bizarre variant.

Factory chrome plated Beeman HW35 with Robert Beemans initials RDB. Less than 20 factory chrome plated versions of any Beeman/HW's exist, the very rarest versions are the ones stamped RDB 1

HW EL54 Barakuda with original glass ether viles & lead round shot. Round shot was at times preferred as occasionally heads would be blown clean off pellets leaving skirts in the barrel! Specimens are not authentic unless factory stamped "BARAKUDA", versions marked HW35 with ether injection tubes are fakes and made of left over parts. Don't need to hear about these didn't work, destroyed, burned seals, etc. It's an eccentric, rare, unusual and very collectable air rifle. I have not and will not diesel it!

No 35 in the Barakuda air rifle, it's just HW EL54 and those not marked as such are fakes. I tried to make mention of this above as I have had numerous people say are 35's and they are not technically speaking. Also although some may have the synthetic breech seal mine certainly does not, I think it dates to 1965 or '66 from the data base if I recall.

WOW Matt! That 35E is really a beauty!

My favorite 35, serial 4814xx (1973), an HW 35L ("Luxus") with Bayern-style stock. Kind of a snoozer piece of walnut grain-wise LOL, but I love the handling of this stock and it's in 99% condition. The rear sight is a special Williams model made for the old Air Rifle Headquarters, to fit the gun's 13 mm scope groove spacing.
